English Lesson Plan for SMK 1 (Adjective of quality, size, colours, age, shape)


PLANNING OF LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION PROGRAM

Meeting Period                :  2 x 45 minutes
Time Allotment               :  One. 45’

I.       Competence Standard
Communication with English in novice level.

II.     Basic Competence
Describe things, characteristic, people, time, day, month, year.

III.    Indicator
-       Making sentences describe the things based on colour, quality.
-       Making sentences describe things based on size, age, shape.

IV.    Learning Purpose
Students are able to:
-    Make some sentences describe things based on colour, quality, size, age, shape.

V.     Learning Material
Ÿ  Adjective of quality  :  good, beautiful, charming, bad, etc.
      Adjective of size       :  big, small, tall, long, etc.
      Adjective of shape    :  round, straight, etc.
      Adjective of age        :  old, young, new, etc.
      Adjective of colour   :  blue, red, pink, yellow, etc.

Ÿ  Basic instruction using adjective:
-    Adjective use after : is, am, are
     Example : Ani is beautiful
-        Adjective use after : was, were
                     Example : Aldi was diligent
-        Adjective use after : ‘be’ to command
     Example : Be diligent!
-        Adjective use after : be and preced by ‘don’t’ to express prohibition.
Example : Don’t be lazy!
-        Adjective put before noun.
Example : A clever student.
